Dear All,
Many of you may be wondering what has happend to the Scottishmini website over the weekend.
It was observed on Thursday night that the forum's performance was slow and a number of bugs occurred. Hours later, the hosting company (Hostpapa) shut down the website because malicious code had taken over the website and according to them, over 3500 spam emails had been sent from the site within a matter of hours (hence the poor performance).
Dave (Gravy) has been trying to restore the website all weekend, however it's proving incredibly difficult to find and remove the malicious code.
The Scottishmini team would like to thank you all for your continued patience and hope to have the webite restored within the next few days. |
